Four steps to a complete 360. This page walks you through each one.

You are about to gather honest, structured feedback on how others experience your leadership. The Leadership Circle Profile pairs your own self-assessment with the perspectives of people who know your work, and turns the gap between the two into insight. Here is how it comes together.

First and most important

Nominate your evaluators

Identify 18 to 20 reviewers: people who know you well, want to help you learn, understand your responsibilities, and can speak to the many roles you play. Not everyone will complete the survey; nominating 18 to 20 yields the 10 to 15 completed assessments that give the most reliable profile.

Aim for your boss, 5+ peers, 5+ direct reports

Boss's Boss: optional; one response reveals breakout data.

Boss: the person who gives your performance appraisal.

Peers: know your work but don't report to you (5+).

Direct Reports: those you evaluate (5+).

Other: vendors, partners, stakeholders (3+).

Nominate Your Evaluators

Takes about 10 minutes. Have your evaluators' email addresses ready.

When you submit your list, the form gives you a ready-to-send heads-up note addressed to all of your evaluators. Sending that note is the last step of nomination; it tells your colleagues to expect the survey invitation and meaningfully raises completion rates.

Get set up

Receive your login

You'll get an email from notifications@theleadershipcircle.com asking you to log in and create a password. If it's not in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder, then click the link, create a password, and sign in.

Your perspective

Complete your self-assessment

Once your evaluators are entered, you'll unlock your own self-assessment, which takes about 20 minutes. Answers save as you go, so you can step away and return. This is the lens we'll compare against how your evaluators see you.

Make meaning of it

Debrief with SPARC

As the close date nears, we'll reach out to schedule your session: a guided conversation to interpret your personal profile and translate the data into what it means for you as a leader.

Your dates

Your invitation email includes the deadlines for your cohort: the date your evaluator list is due and the date surveys close. If you can't find it, write to us and we'll resend it.
